Psychomotor Activity and Human Development

The intention of the congress was to bring together scientists, practicians, pedagogues and therapists to develop a common stock-taking of scientific knowledge and to facilitate an applicable concept of psychomotor behaviour.

In the first main topic the different developmental tendencies in the field of psychomotor behaviour including theoretical positions and practical consequences in the participating countries have been discussed.

The second main emphasis was the examination of the importance of psychomotor activity involved with human development which was to be compared with the different developmental theories and possible consequences for pedagogical and therapeutical work.
